Ethereal folk singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Sage Nizhoni, described by CBC Radio as a “sonic shapeshifter,” crafts atmospheres for the listener to get lost in, her voice a parting in the clouds telling you to “find your happy place.” Currently based in Austin, and having performed since 14 in venues from Boston to Bentonville to San Francisco to St. Louis, she brings her unique background to a sound influenced by the genres of folk, indie, world music, math rock, and hard rock. Sage holds a Bachelor’s of Songwriting from the Berklee College of Music, played violin in the score of the acclaimed 2020 documentary Sky Blossom, and participated in the House of Songs Freshsongs Summit in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Her debut album, Winding Narrow Roads Ahead, can be found on all streaming platforms. All albums and singles are under her own record label, Nizhoni Records. Sage welcomes collaborative opportunities where her contribution can elevate anything creative and musical.
